The Senior List

The Senior List® is a ratings and review portal for everything senior related.  Visit our Nationwide Senior Care Directory for ratings & reviews on senior services.   If you’re looking for Product Reviews (on medical alert systems, or senior-friendly cell phones) you’ll find them here.  Our blog contains wonderful information on caregiving, health matters, technology, and more.

Your participation is requested… Your comments, ratings and reviews will bring this site to life, and provide even more value to those seeking unbiased eldercare information.  Our goal at The Senior List is to help consumers navigate through confusing waters, but we also want to start a discussion!  Let’s face it, the search for quality eldercare information can be a real struggle.  When you’re looking for local senior services, or product reviews you just want good quality (unbiased) information.  We hope you’ll find The Senior List to be a valuable resource.  Please share us with your friends!

At The Senior List, we try to bring consumers together with the best local service providers.  This produces a win-win scenario for the benefit of everyone involved.  You can help us deliver valuable consumer feedback by adding a rating or review (of a business you’re familiar with).  Word of mouth… It works!!   Visit our Eldercare Directory Today

  1. I think this is a great resource. I would like to know what steps were involved in getting listed there.

    • Thank you Stephanie- We’re in the midst of a total site redesign (which you’ll see shortly). As this is happening in stages, once we finish up with the care-directory, you’ll be able to list yourself (or others) as a trusted senior care resource.

I don’t see home instead senior care on this list. I would definitely recommend their inclusion in the near future, as they are a fantastic home care provider.

  4. How do I subscribe to the Senior List? I have been a subscriber to Consumer Reports for many years but just recently found out about the Senior List while looking for hearing aid information.

    • Hi Elaine – You should see a box in the right hand column that says “Email Newsletter”. This is simply a feedburner subscription service that sends you an article when it is published. Just place your email in the box and you’ll receive our articles. We never share our subscriber list, so your info is secure.

  5. Do you have any updated information on Philips Lifeline autoalert reviews?

    • Kristine – We like Philips Lifeline and we do recommend it. The fall detection isn’t perfect (but it’s not perfect on any of the traditional medical alert systems out there. You’ll find a review of Philips Lifeline as well as a whole host of user comments if you search The Senior List articles.

  6. Great, informative blog. I enjoy reading your words. Keep it up!
