Best Assisted Living Seattle Washington | Who makes the list?

While Arizona may be, for many, the go-to retirement state, not everyone likes it hot. There are those who are more comfortable with wetter winters and generally cooler summer temperatures, and the lush green beauty that only wetter climes can provide. If you’re one of those who yearns to look out a window to see glorious lakes and tree-clad mountains, Seattle may be just the ticket.

Seattle, justifiably nicknamed the Emerald City, has a great deal to offer with its walkable downtown and extensive mass transit in the form of buses and trolleys. With shopping, museums, parks, farmers markets, theaters, restaurants, and so much more, this city of just over half a million people has a lot to offer. And for those who crave physical activities, there are mountains to climb or ski, endless hiking trails, as well as boating and water sports. And remember: Washington does not have a personal income tax.

It’s true, Seattle’s assisted living scene is not as extensive as that in, say, Phoenix, and there are several facilities that have either no or very few ratings yet. Even so, there are still plenty of options worth considering.  Now, what constitutes the “best” choice is an individual call, but you’ve got to start somewhere. With that in mind, if you, or someone you know, is looking for the ideal new home, check out our findings for a varied array of assisted living communities in Seattle, Washington.
