Best Assisted Living Denver Colorado | Who makes the list?

Denver continues to be an increasingly popular retirement destination. There are several reasons for this, including the following:

  1. The cost of retirement is relatively low here. No matter what level of care or assistance you want, the options are many and varied, and tend to be affordable.
  2. The “Mile High City” (exactly one mile above sea level, in fact) offers what many regard as pleasant temperatures all-year-round. The average daily high in August is a comfortably dry 86 degrees, cooling down nicely at night. Winters can be cold – nothing like Chicago, e.g., but snow is likely for part of the winter. Because snow and ice are expected, they know how to treat the roads for motorists.
  3. Especially for those who are still active, Denver, Colorado’s capital and largest city, offers a wealth of cultural options, fine dining and wineries as well biking, skiing, fishing, snowshoeing, and swimming, all year ‘round.
  4. Simply breathtaking scenery.
  5. Some of the finest hospitals in the country are in Denver.
