I just called our local Chili’s on 27th Street in Milwaukee, WI because I wanted to take my family there (7 adults, 5 children) for a celebratory meal. I read various ‘lists’ that state Chili’s gives a senior discount and I thought I read in AARP or somewhere that it could include the total bill. I am treating the family, so I tried the ‘Contact Us’ E-mail on their website more than a week ago and still did not receive an answer. Today (6/22) I called the local Chili’s and a ‘wait person’ answered the phone and said they didn’t know and had to ask a manager. He came back and said they only have a veteran’s discount, but no senior discounts. Tried to call the corporate # for customer service, but you never get to talk to a real person. You have 3 choices to contact them, but each one gives you a different # to call and none of the choices pertained to what I was asking. I now tried the regular corporate #, the woman transferred me to a different # and said if I got a voice message, I should leave my # and they would call me back. I hardly believe they’ll call, but would like to know why it’s listed that they have a senior discount when they don’t. I want to be sure before I take my family there, or decide on somewhere else. Thank you.

Hi Irene! It’s important to note that in many cases discounting decisions are made at the local level. This is particularly relevant to franchise establishments (like Wendy’s or Taco Bell, etc.). If you look at some of the comments made today, you’ll see that Chic-Fil-A in Macon offers a discounted drink, and the one in Fayetteville doesn’t. (I know it seems weird to me too…) Additionally, I haven’t heard of a discount on the entirety of a meal, usually just applies to the senior (or veteran) for their meal, or on individual items on the menu. I applaud you for being so diligent with your Chili’s in Milwaukee. I hope they’ll get back to you! – All the best, A

I have tried a few subway places. Most have quit the 10% discount for seniors. They claim to not have enough profit margin.
Prices are up, no discounts, just advertised specials which are not too bad.
Most of these actually have been in Florida, full of seniors. Go Figure!!!

I want a companion so I can enjoy things together. It gets lonely being a senior. I live in rural Maine. Tell me if there are people who want or need this.

I am a consultant for La Bella Gift Baskets. I would like to offer a discount to seniors and their families which would entitle them to 20% off my entire website of over 1,000 gift baskets, flowers, cookie bouquets, candles and personalized gifts.

Would you be able to share this discount through your website and social media?

    Thank you so much.

Never heard of Skyline before I moved to Cincinnati area, but Skyline Chili and Cincinnati are linked and inseparable. If You’re in Cincinnati you should try it.
About the only thing I can say to describe it, is it’s not really chili in the sense that the rest of the world thinks of chili.

It’s more like sloppy joe meat, piled hight with shredded cheese. It basically comes as three way, 4 way, and 5 way, which just means it has beans, onions, peppers, or whatever combination you want. And it comes with a bowl of oyster crackers that they will refill if you ask.
