- As of 2024, Denny’s does not offer a companywide senior discount. However, most locations have a special discounted menu for people ages 55 and up.
- AARP members get a 15 percent discount (up to $10) on their bills.
- Military members and veterans can get a free Original Grand Slam breakfast on Veterans Day each year at participating locations.
Does Denny’s Have a Senior Discount?
Denny’s does not offer a companywide senior discount, but it does offer a discount for AARP members. Simply present your AARP membership card if you’re dining in, or say your membership number over the phone, and get 15 percent off for a maximum discount of $10.
Additionally, even for those who aren’t AARP members, the company’s 55+ menu is available at most locations, and this menu features smaller portions of popular items at lower prices. Not all Denny’s locations offer this discount, so be sure to inquire with your local store.

Does Denny’s Have a Military Discount?
As of 2024, Denny’s does not offer an ongoing, companywide military discount. However, on Veterans Day in 2023, it offered a free Original Grand Slam to active military personnel and military veterans who were dining in at participating locations during certain hours. To redeem this offer, they had to show either a valid military ID or a DD 214 form. The Original Grand Slam includes:
- Two bacon strips
- Two eggs
- Two pancakes
- Two sausage links
