One of the other destinations for senior discounts is AARP.  Each year AARP offers a comprehensive set of discounts that are available exclusively to members. While some of these discounts can be had by pushy curious consumers, many are exclusively offered as a benefit to your AARP membership.

On of the more popular lists in AARP circles is their AARP travel discounts list.  Here are 70 travel discounts that AARP is offering in 2016!  Visit AARP today for discount details.

  8. We ar e planning a trip to Eastern Canada, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec. Do you offer any package deals for us?
  9. Just returned from 40 day cruise on Holland America. It was horrible!!! The ship, the Noordam, was an old tub past it’s prime and in desperately need of refurbish. The room was in a literal corner with a old box style tv so far away I got a cramp and n my neck trying to watch. The linens were not washed but 4 times. I marked them with washable Mark. The glasswear for bathroom and room were NEVER replaced. I booked a handicap room and my scooter barely fit ( with great effort). My dining hall experience was ruined. No one in the dining hall had accounted for my scooter and we were met by maitre de being confused which left me embarrassed and upset as they searched for a seat, in the 5 course meals dining room. Tried 2 more times to eat in dining room only to watch a Chinese fire drill performance. Had rest of meals in cafeteria ( food was better!) Excursions were NOT rated well for the handicap passenger to understand the effort required to do some of the adventures. I paid for ‘first class ‘ everything and got CRAP. After complaining Holland America is giving me $1000 toward next cruise. The ASSUME I want to cruise with them again. The excursion to the Pearl Harbor Memorial was cancelled, due to excursions director, against our will. My husband may, now, NEVER get his wish to be there to honor his father ( a WWII survivor/ now deceased) The few things that mattered most to us were NOT what we got. I am more upset now. Livid at Holland America. How do I get satisfaction. Beware, Holland America is NOT handicap accessible, compliant or understanding of special passengers.
