According to recent data, eharmony attracts a significant number of mature users, with many in their 50s, 60s, and 70s choosing the platform to find serious relationships. If you’re looking for the largest number of seniors, you’ll have the most luck on eharmony compared to SilverSingles and OurTime. The app has been downloaded millions of times across both operating systems, far exceeding Ourtime and significantly outpacing SilverSingles.

The biggest drawback of eharmony is its costs. Eharmony offers tiered pricing based on subscription length. A six-month Premium plan starts at around $65.90 per month (billed as approximately $395 up front), a 12-month plan runs about $45.90 per month (roughly $550 total), and a 24-month plan costs around $35.90 per month (about $861 total). Premium Plus plans with additional features cost more.

Any way you slice it, eharmony is one of the most expensive dating platforms around — aside from Jdate, a dating app for Jewish singles. The high prices are due to the app’s popularity. While other apps like Ourtime may cost less than half of what eharmony charges, they can’t compare in terms of the number of users, which is an important factor when it comes to choosing a dating app.

Pricing aside, eharmony’s app was easy to use. We could swipe through potential matches, see who liked us, message our matches, and see who has visited our profiles. We could also use our app to complete our profiles, and eharmony would tell us what percentage of our profiles were complete and suggest ways to complete it. For example, the app told us to add 12 more photos or to write our most unforgettable travel stories. With these prompts and suggestions, we’re sure to find a match in this gigantic dating pool.
