Kohl’s Senior Discount: What You Can Expect
- Kohl’s offers a senior discount of 15 percent off your entire in-store purchase.
- To use this discount, you must be 60 or older.
- This discount can only be used on Wednesdays and cannot be combined with other coupons or discounts.
As one of the largest department stores in the U.S., Kohl’s frequently provides numerous rewards and discounts for customers of any age. When it comes to seniors, however, the company offers a special discount year-round.
How It Works
For those 60 or older, Kohl’s offers a 15 percent off coupon every Wednesday. This coupon can only be redeemed at an in-store location, and its discount will be applied to your entire purchase.
Limitations
The Kohl’s senior discount applies to your whole purchase, but there are certain items it can’t be applied to.
- Gift cards
- Kohl’s Care cause or any other charitable items
- Sephora
- Any other items identified as ineligible, either in the store or online

Kohl’s Military Discount
If you’re a member of the military, you may qualify for Kohl’s service member military discount. This offer gives service members a chance to redeem a special 15 percent-off coupon in-store on Mondays.
Eligible customers include active and former military personnel, veterans, and their families. To redeem the military discount, customers need to show proof of identification along with any tender type. Valid or acceptable forms of documentation include:
- Military IDs
- State-issued identification that shows one’s veteran status
- Form DD 214
Kohl’s Teacher Discount
Kohl’s has offered teachers limited-time discounts in the past, such as in the summer of 2021, but there are no discounts for teachers as of 2024.
