Highlights
- Bachelor’s degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences
- Clinical Doctorate in Audiology
As a licensed Doctor of Audiology, Danielle has worked across clinical practice, research, retail audiology, industry consulting, and teaching—more corners of the hearing healthcare field than most audiologists see in a career. That breadth gives her something rare: the ability to evaluate hearing aid brands and technologies from every angle, and translate what she knows into guidance that actually helps.
Early in her career, Danielle spent seven years at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, working as both a research audiologist and credentialed clinician while supervising doctoral externs in clinical training. She served as Peer Review Officer for Audiology, leading a department-wide restructuring of quality assurance systems that improved documentation standards and patient outcomes. Since then, she’s practiced across settings—from independent private practice to high-volume corporate retail. She’s also taught as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Maryland.
On the industry side, Danielle worked as a product support specialist and subject matter expert for a major DTC hearing aid company, conducting scientific and regulatory review for FDA submissions. This work required her to ensure accessible hearing technology met rigorous standards of safety and efficacy.
Today, she reviews content to ensure it is medically accurate, accessible, and trustworthy. She believes audiology is both a science and a service, and she works to elevate both for readers navigating their hearing health journey.
