The Benefits of a Walk-In Tub are many, but the most important is safety in the home.

Bathe Safely

The walk-in tub was designed for people who have difficulty stepping over the side of a regular bathtub to enter and exit. Specialty features such as a side door and ultra-low step-in are the key features of any walk-in bathtub, and are essential to preventing slips and falls in the bathroom.

An ergonomic seat inside the bathtub is another important benefit of a walk-in tub. Allowing you to sit comfortably upright while you soak and wash is a valuable safety feature, keeping pressure off the feet and legs and maintaining a stable position throughout the bathing experience.

The KOHLER® Walk-In Bath was designed with industry-leading safety features, including the lowest step-in on the market, measuring at approximately three inches high. The door is also one of the widest available, so you can enter and exit with ease. The seat is designed for ergonomic comfort and allows easy access to the handshower and bath controls.

Experience hydrotherapy

Walk-in baths are not only designed for a safer bathing experience, but a more comfortable one as well. Features like whirlpool jets, fast fill and drain technology and heated surfaces create a spa-like experience and enhance your comfort from start to finish.

Hydrotherapy jets that target stress points along the spine, legs and feet can be an important part of recovery from illness. It has also shown to curtail pain from arthritis, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy and myriad ailments that cause chronic pain.

Jets in a walk-in tub provide a relaxing hydrotherapy experience.

While sitting inside a bathtub waiting for the water to fill or drain, heated back and shoulder surfaces can keep you warm and comfortable from the moment you enter until you step out. Plus, fast fill and drain technology ensure you spend less time waiting and more time enjoying your bathing experience. Many baths include an extendable handshower, giving you the experience of a shower with the safety of a bathtub.

Stay in the home you love

Most walk-in bathtubs do not require a full bathroom remodel. In fact, some can be installed in as little as one day, and fit in the exact “footprint” of your traditional bathtub.

Walk-in tubs are designed to make bathing safer and easier for people with mobility challenges, and to empower gracious living at home. This, in turn, helps them to avoid assisted living costs and medical assistance services, and maintain their independence in the home they love.

The KOHLER® Walk-In Bath was designed around the idea that gracious living should be accessible and attainable for everyone. Helping customers achieve gracious living at home is the inspiration behind every product and service offered by Kohler.
