What We Like Most:
- Large membership of seniors
- Detailed filters for activities
- Over 20 million members
- Six months free if you don’t find a match
Although dating on Match.com isn’t exclusive to Latinos or any age group, members can communicate their ethnic and age preferences in the site’s initial survey or filter for any other cultures you prefer in a partner.
Match.com offers three options for meeting a compatible partner. Mutual Matches are based on your responses to the registration questionnaire on the site and your indicated preferences. These are typical matches, usually exceeding 80 percent compatibility, and you’ll typically receive three to seven new options daily. Reverse matches provide you with a list of members for whom you meet a high percentage of their ideal partner traits. Finally, simple and advanced searches present you with matches that fit very specific filters.
Match offers several tiers of membership: free, standard, and premium. Free members have the ability to publish photos, look up profiles, and send likes. But to read or send messages, view who has liked or viewed your profile, send Super Likes, get priority access to match events, and hide matches from view, you’ll need a standard paid membership. For a few extra dollars on top of the standard subscription fee, premium members gain access to a monthly profile boost and message read receipts.
When compared to the other sites featured here, Match.com has a larger share of users seeking casual relationships. However, most Match.com users, including Latinos and people of other ethnic backgrounds, are very serious about their faith and are only interested in long-term partnerships.
